Being a christian on 2 channels?!
1Timothy 3:1-7&12
1Here is a trustworthy saying: If anyone sets his heart on being an overseer, he desires a noble task.2Now the overseer must be above reproach, the husband of but one wife, temperate, self-controlled, respectable, hospitable, able to teach,3not given to drunkenness, not violent but gentle, not quarrelsome, not a lover of money.4He must manage his own family well and see that his children obey him with proper respect.5(If anyone does not know how to manage his own family, how can he take care of God's church?)6He must not be a recent convert, or he may become conceited and fall under the same judgment as the devil.7He must also have a good reputation with outsiders, so that he will not fall into disgrace and into the devil's trap.
12A deacon must be the husband of but one wife and must manage his children and his household well.
Having your own family on one channel and Gods family on another

Our order of priorities, based on the Bible
- Relationship with God -Matthew 22:37-38
37Jesus replied: " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.'38This is the first and greatest commandment. - Relationship with family -Matthew 22:39
39And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' - Church ministry -1Timothy 3:5
5(If anyone does not know how to manage his own family, how can he take care of God's church?)
- So why do we act differently at church to how we act at home?
Our society does not have the Bible as its foundation, but tells us to make adjustments in the many things we do.
And how about Jesus' priority order? -John 19:25-28
25Near the cross of Jesus stood his mother, his mother's sister, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary Magdalene.26When Jesus saw his mother there, and the disciple whom he loved standing nearby, he said to his mother, "Dear woman, here is your son,"27and to the disciple, "Here is your mother." From that time on, this disciple took her into his home.28Later, knowing that all was now completed, and so that the Scripture would be fulfilled, Jesus said, "I am thirsty."
- Paul's even harsher words -1Timothy 5:8
8If anyone does not provide for his relatives, and especially for his immediate family, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.
God has not forgotten about restoring your family!
Let’s make a connection with Jesus and receive strength from him!
1Corinthians 13:4-8
4Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.5It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.6Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.7It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
8Love never fails.
